Una Introducción

¡Hola!

Este blog es para mis amigos y parientes que quieren seguir mis aventuras en España este semestre.  Me voy en martes, el 21, y regreso en el diciembre.  Voy a escribir en ambos idiomas, inglés y español, sin el uso de un traductor.  ¡Espero que mi gramática y vocabulario mejore bastante rápidamente!

Estoy viajando con un grupo de 15 estudiantes y una profesora de la Universidad Colgate.  Por las primeras dos semanas, estamos locados en Santiago de Compostela en Galicia, el sitio de un gran peregrinaje católico.  Pasaremos el resto del semestre en Madrid a la Universidad San Pablo CEU.

Trataré de actualizar frecuentemente con muchos fotos y otras cosas interesantes.  Espero que gocéis leyendo el blog como gozo escribiéndolo.  Yo sé que los meses que vienen van a ser increíbles.  Estoy muy emocionado para esta experiencia, y estoy emocionado de compartir mis historias con vosotros.

Hello!

This blog is for my friends and relatives that want to follow my adventures in Spain this semester.  I leave on Tuesday, the 21st, and I return in December.  I am going to write in both languages, English and Spanish, without the use of a translator.  I hope my grammar and vocab improve quickly enough!

I am travelling with a group of 15 students and a professor from Colgate University.  For the first two weeks, we are located in Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, the site of a great Catholic pilgrimage.  We will spend the rest of the semester in Madrid at the Universidad San Pablo CEU.

I will try to update frequently with lots of pictures and other interesting items.  I hope you all enjoy reading the blog as I enjoy writing it.  I know that the months to come are going to be incredible.  I am very excited for this experience, and I am excited to share my stories with you.
